Not yet. CoinProp is currently a manual trading platform. We understand that algorithmic and AI-assisted trading is a growing part of how modern traders operate, and it is something we are actively thinking about for the future. For now, all trades must be placed manually by the account holder.
No API access is available at this time.
What counts as automated trading
Automated trading means any system, script, or tool that places, modifies, or closes trades on your account without you manually acting on each one. This includes:
- Expert advisors (EAs)
- Trading bots of any kind
- Algorithmic execution scripts
- Third-party copy trading services where your account is the follower
- Any tool that connects to your account and executes orders automatically
What is allowed right now
Manual trading tools and decision-support tools are fully permitted. The line is at execution — you must be the one placing every trade.
| Tool or practice | Allowed? |
|---|---|
| Manual order entry on the CPX terminal | Yes |
| TradingView alerts that notify you to trade | Yes |
| Using indicators, signals, or strategies to inform your decisions | Yes |
| Placing trades yourself based on any signal or system | Yes |
| Any tool that automatically executes trades on your account | No |
| EAs and expert advisors | No |
| Trading bots | No |
| API access | No |
| Third-party copy trading where your account is the follower | No |
TradingView alerts
You can use TradingView alerts and indicators to support your trading decisions. Receiving an alert and then manually placing the trade yourself is fully permitted.
What is not currently supported is any integration that takes the alert and automatically executes the trade on your account without you manually acting on it.
What about the future?
We know the trading world is evolving fast. AI-assisted strategies, algorithmic execution, and automated risk management are becoming standard tools for serious traders. CoinProp is built to grow with that landscape. Automated trading support — including potential API access — is something we are considering for a future phase of the platform.
When that changes, we will announce it clearly to our community.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I use an EA on the CPX terminal? Not currently. The CPX terminal does not provide API access and does not support automated execution at this stage.
- Can I use a signal service to know when to trade? Yes, as long as you are the one manually placing every trade. Using a signal service for alerts or ideas is permitted. Connecting it to your account for automatic execution is not currently supported.
- Can I run the same manual strategy across multiple funded accounts? Yes. You can hold up to 4 funded accounts and trade the same strategy manually across all of them. You cannot open opposing positions across accounts on the same instrument at the same time.
- What happens if automated trading is detected on my account? Your account will be closed. This applies to both evaluation and funded accounts. If you believe this was flagged in error, contact our support team with the relevant trade details.
- I built my own trading script — can I use it? Only if it is a decision-support tool that does not touch your account. If it analyses the market and surfaces ideas for you to act on manually, that is permitted. If it connects to your account and places orders automatically, it is not currently allowed.
- Does this rule apply to both the evaluation and funded account? Yes. Manual trading is required in both phases for now.
- Will CoinProp ever support automated trading? It is something we are thinking about seriously. The trading landscape is changing and we want CoinProp to evolve with it. We will share updates with our community when there is something concrete to announce.
