Why contacting support first matters

Opening a chargeback with your bank or payment provider can result in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of platform access

  • Restriction from purchasing future evaluations

  • Submission of transaction records and platform logs to contest the dispute with the payment processor

These actions may occur if a dispute is determined to be fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with the platform terms. 


Legitimate chargeback situations

Chargebacks should only be used in situations such as:

  • A verified unauthorized transaction due to stolen payment credentials

  • Non-delivery of the purchased service after attempting to resolve the issue directly with support

Initiating a chargeback without legitimate cause after receiving access to the purchased service may be considered a breach of the Terms of Use. 


Important reminder

Evaluation purchases provide access to software-based simulated evaluation services delivered electronically. Access is typically provided immediately after payment confirmation.

Because of this, billing issues are usually best resolved directly with support rather than through a payment dispute.
