You can purchase an evaluation, access the CPX terminal and trade the full evaluation without submitting any identity documents. Evaluation purchases provide access to software-based simulated trading and evaluation services. No user funds are deposited or held.
Required before your funded account is activated
Once you pass an evaluation, verification is part of activating the funded account. Trading on the funded account is not enabled until it is complete, along with signing the Funded Trader Agreement and adding your USDC wallet address. See What happens after I pass the evaluation?
It only needs doing once. Approved verification is tied to your account and is not repeated for future funded accounts.
Required before referral earnings are paid
Verification is also required before earnings from Refer and Earn or the Affiliate Program can be withdrawn. You can join, promote and accumulate commission without it, but not withdraw.
Why it is required
It confirms account ownership, prevents fraud, and supports compliance with applicable policies. It applies at the point money is paid out, not at the point software access is sold.
